What belt?

What belt?
I have an 02 F150 4.6, with air...BUT. The air conditioner pump has been by-passed. Do I just get a belt for the same truck, but w/o air??? I just bought a Goodyear Gator belt the other day, and tried to install it. It was too small, by about an inch, and I could not install it. Ended up breaking the tensioner trying to force it that last little bit. Comparing the new belt to the old, and the new was visibly smaller 1-2" and the new one is the proper belt according to the p/n

It is easier to keep the AC pump in place and just unplug it so it never cycles. Essentially using it as an idler pulley (as long as the clutch works fine).
Measure the length of your old belt if it worked fine before and just buy a belt the same length and not by part number.

I figured the pump was seized but keep in mind that does not matter as long as the AC clutch works and you unplug the wire harness from the pump. Then the AC pump will not cycle on any setting and it will spin on the AC clutch just like any other pulley.
You should have no issues getting a belt by size. I did this on my Mustang when I removed the AC entirely.
You could also add an AC compressor bypass pulley (removing the seized AC compressor) and use the stock belt.
