seats?

So I'm dumping tons of money into my truck, and I figure I'll make it look nice on the interior. I want to put in leather seats, but I can never find them on craigslist or anywhere (cheap), so I was wandering, how hard would it be to modify the base to fit my truck? I have the '97 F-150 XLT.

Your best bet, (economically speaking), is to find a local automotive interior shop and just have yours recovered. If you don't mind your current seat configuration.

You might be able to find seats from a expedition/navigator & maybe try King Ranch at least something else to try in the search bar.

Have you tried these places?

Thanks for the options, right now all the seats that will fit my truck are in vehicles with an open sun roof or busted windows, so with all the rain we get id think there will be mold growing soon. If i find a king ranch seat, im taking it, but my problem is idk if they have the bench style or a 60/40 split. I like bucket seats but I have my 4wd stick on the ground so i cant have the console there. Right now, I am on a list that tells me when they get a new vehicle in, so i know when to go the the scrap yards.

Remember that the King Ranch seats have to come from a F150, as the Super-Duty seats mount differently. As for the console, there are a couple threads where someone has modified the 4wd selector to work with the console.
