Since this will be an involved project no matter what direction I go, it's getting sidelined for a few months. I have to build a porch, install an irrigation system, repaint my barn, and go through and rebuild my late fathers former living quarters in my house. This all needs to be completed during the short winter because I can't do this stuff in southern AZ summers.

The latest thinking is to have this vehicle replace the truck as the tow/trail rig. I'd pull and fix the 5.4 then do a swap with the V10 in the F150 so we could sell the F150 with the "original" (4th) engine.
