CA or US made?
I'm looking at a very clean F150 SCrew 2003 4x4. 113k.
But history research shows it is made in Canada, then sold in ND 1st.
Is there a difference in where it was made? US or CA?
Can't find carfax ,bb history ,VIN shows non-US.....no data?
Autocheck showed some history.

That VIN is invalid, get it corrected before investing too much time effort, or money.
The check digit does not match the rest of the alpha-numeric character string so there is definitely an error in what you have been given.
Handy calculator: http://www.alton-moore.net/vin_calculation.php
Note, it looks much cleaner on the original page.... Table formatting is lost when posted to forum. Note also that the calculator suggests a corrected VIN, but that presumes that only the check digit was incorrect and the rest of the supplied VIN was accurate. Odds are better that some other character is incorrect, so I wouldn't place any confidence in the "corrected" VIN.

Found an '01 F-150 Lariat XL extcab 63,243mi 1 owner 11k
Waiting for final paperwork now will go pick up tomorrow.
Guy says it still smells like new leather inside..............
trying to get free VIN report and more pics now.
Internet shopping can be interesting to say the least.

It's a beauty glc. He sent me some pics and has the Carfax there at the office.
It looks like new, literally. Good thing it's the color of our dirt out here,AZ gold,'cept shiny, lol.
It's also offroad model,besides Lariat.
Just what I wanted, well maybe more.
I want to thank the folks on this website again for the service you provide. The data is mindboggleing.
And the folks on the site like you glc, topnotch and the other regulars are top notch folks in my book!!!
I'll post pics when I can as it's going to get a full tow/test run from NM to CA Sierra's Sat. too pick up my furniture I made.

I put 2200 mi on it over the weekend going to the Sierras and back to NM with uhaul full of furniture. Drives and rides like a dream!
It's going to be hard to keep as clean as it is where I live for sure. It's already sand/mud colored ,but shiny still on top. That's just from going in and out of my place 4 times....LOL.
Guy that owned it was 50 mi from me,must have kept it garaged.
Engine & compartment look like new truck. Good detailer I imagine..
I guess these trucks had no front mudguard/splashguard or mine fell off on these NM roads.
Gotta restick the window weather shields back on,front door ones came loose on rear on way back. Trying silicon caulk, lightly.
What owners manual besides original in glove would you folks recommend ? Like a Chiltons or such?
