Replaced battery wires now no power

I have a 1997 F150 4.6. The car wouldnt start so my boyfriend pulled the starter off and had it tested it was fine but the wires fell appart in several places from corrosion. He got new wires from both positive and negative battery terminals and all the wries from the solenoid to the starter as well. He installed them and now the truck has no power at all. He can get the starter to turn over but the truck wont start by jumping the solenoid which is brand new. Please help.

The only help you can get is for someone to put all the cables and wires in their proper locations and be sure the mega fuse is not blown.
No one can tell what you have now for any help under these unknown conditions.
Good luck..

He likely put one of the large wires on the firewall-mounted starter relay on the wrong terminal. The one that feeds the rest of the vehicle is probably (incorrectly) on the starter load terminal.
