pics of the donahoe f-150

heres some pics a buddy of mine that lives near the donahoe shop took of their 04 f-150 with front fiberglass fenders, their new coilover, 37" tires, donahoe side steps and front bumper. Looks pretty tight although a little dirty, granted they weren't thinking it was being photographed.
I have no idea if this will work.... Tim

That's a damned fine looking truck. Very nice. I'd change a few things, though. That weird bar under the grille, I'd leave the stock front fenders and move down to 35's.

That step bar is cool. I don't usually like step bars of any kind, but I think I'll be putting that one on my truck.

BTT for new members.

It would be interesting to read updates from those that were planning on 'super-sizing' their OEM wheels and tires.

Any updates on lift kit availability from the major brands. All I ever see is "coming soon". I have had the Fabtech lift quoted @ $1699, but still no firm delivery date. Anybody have any other quotes done?

Damn, that's an expensive lift. What's the labor usually run for the install? Anyone know?

i had the fabtech lift quoted at $1699 + $475 labor = $2174 + tax. with tax in SoCal it comes to about $2350. that's bucks for just the lift. that was about 3 weeks ago and that was also when I decided I don't need to lift my truck that much. I will probably go with the Daystar spacers up front and some new meats and wheels and call it done. I want my truck lifted more, but with the amount of off-roading I do (6 weekend trips/year) I can't justify spending so much money. i'd rather do other things with that cash. although the spacers are not ideal, i think they will be ok, especially since most of my off roading is in the sand, not on rocks.

BTT again for the new guys.

Still waiting for California Super Trucks and Donahoe Racing (The Edge) to update their web site info and finally release their lift kits. Anyone heard anything yet?

Nice headlights, eh?

Almost forgot... One more lift kit fo ya from JD Fabrication. This offering can be done as a 4x2 Prerunner, or (with extended custom axles) a 4x4. With 8" of lift and 14" of very functional travel (no other kit with this much travel so far), this is not a run-of-the-mill bolt on looks only lift kit.

Aggressive Suspensions in Anaheim, CA. it was over the phone. You may be able to bargain with them.
