Bed Rug Reviews?
Anyone out there that can talk to their experience with the Bed Rug bed liner? A guy I spoke to last week that sells hard tonneau covers recommended it over all other bedliners (he does not sell it himself, so he wasn't just giving me a line). Told me there was an advantage over the drop-in liners with regards to hard covers because you don't have to cut out a portion for the rails or hinge assembly of the tonneau to fit properly. I sent a way for a free sample...just curious if anyone's used it before. Price appears to be the same as spray-in or factory drop-ins. Thanks

Checked it out on bedrug.com and they seem really cool. I would like to here from someone who has one first before I would consider buying one. I talked to a dealer today and they should have one ready to ship but mid Oct for the new 150. Price is about $100 dollars less than a spray on. I was quoted $400 for the spay on and around $300 for the bed rug. Anyone have one of these? Held in place by a velcro type material.

Have one in mine and love it. A lot of the other members here also have them. If you plan to haul a lot of mulch or hay you may want to go another route. The residue from these stick to the fibers and are hard to get all out.
Son spilled a gallon of milk in mine already at 3 weeks after install and it hosed right off. Best part is it wouldnt allow it to soak in so there is no smell from it:D
I removed a hard Ford liner to install this since I was putting a cover on.

01 XLT Sport,
Yep I`m a Zainoid. Best stuff for me to use especially when a buddy here is a authorized dealer
I second the motion on Chickenears for the bedrug. I bought mine from him also and he went out of his way to get it to me where I was on vacation for a week in another state this summer. Great service from him in all aspects!!

I was considering the bed rug pretty seriousely untill I thout about some of the things I put in the back of my truck. I am a hunter and have been known to throw a buck in the back each fall. I can imagine what the deer hair and blood would do to that bed rug. I will probably go with the spray in liner. unless I find out the bed rug won't stain from the blood.

Check out the website for it.
http://www.bedrug.com/
It claims the following:
The BedRug looks like carpet and feels like carpet, but it is All RUGGED PLASTIC! Just like drop-in liners or spray-in liners, the BedRug is Plastic. That's why it is completely unaffected by water, dirt, grease, oil, acids, bleach or solvents.
I imagine the blood would wash out with a hose. Not sure how much the deer hair would stick to it but I carry 2 Australian shepards in mine once in awhile outside their kennels and the hair just vacumns up.
When my son spilled the milk in ours I just un-zipped the bottom part and pulled it out. Took the garden hose to it and let it dry the rest of the day and put it back in. There is no trace of it in there now....

Looking at their web site Jason, leads me to believe there would not be a problem dragging your trophy home. Nor would taking a pressure washer to their material. Looks like a really great alternative to traditional bed liners. I really like the contoured foam that makes the bed flat, while helping to absorb impacts that would otherwise dent a dropped or sprayed in liner. They offer a sample of the material, so you could always try laying a steak on the stuff in the fridge for a few days, and see if it passes the blood test.

Hay any of you guys with the bed rug in your truck. if I have something heavy (250 + lbs) and go to drag it out of the bed will it try to drag the rug out with it or dammage it in any way.
thanx for the info and link to their site. I am still not decided their warranty dose not cover stains just defects in materials and workmanship. this makes me wander just how stain resistant it is if they don't warranty against it. I will try to get their free sample and take a look at it. thanx guys
