04 Arizona Beige Lariat pics

Love the truck...feels so solid and the ride is as good as any car i've been in. I haven't had any of the problems that have been mentioned on this forum...only a small paint issue (see photo in gallery)...in certain light you can see a spot on the driver's side hood about 2x2"...looks like a smear or something sealed under the clear coat. I didn't see it until about 3 days after getting the truck home. I can't see it when driving so we will see how that works out. Traded my 02 FX4 Lariat SCrew (23,000 mi) and the differenced are beyond description. I do miss the storage (behind back seat)on the previous truck but the audiophile more that makes up for the loss. The dealer had thrown in a ford drop in at n/c so I may wailt a bit on the line-x (it's hard...I have had 2 previous rhinos and look forward to upgrading to the line-x). Daystar kit should arrive today or tomorrow and will run to mechanic and level that baby out. I have some 285-65-R18 BFG TAKO's ordered but I am having second thoughts...not a big difference (.75") in the wrangler at/s's but I love the look. I will post pics ASAP.

I'd take that paint issue back to the dealer and have them get it fixed. Or see if they'll pay you to take it somewhere to get done right.

It's strange...in certain light you can't see it but other times it jumps out at you.

I ordered a solid az beige supercrew and didnt buy it mainly because of paint problems. When it rolled off the car carrier, there was buffing compound splattered all over one side of the truck, and i could see sanding scratches in the paint that had been clear coated over and then buffed.

Looks like a random thing...I doubt any certain color would have any more issuues than the next one...just a quality control thing.

Got the same truck coming in 3-4 weeks. I started out with total white until I saw this color in person. I got same as you but with bright boards, no moon roof or heated seats....
