Nope. Doors unlock when you open the door though. You don't have to unlock the door in order to open it.

If it is like the -03 models, the rear doors do not unlock when the door handle is pulled.

It looks like if you have the Message Center (read: Lariat) you cna disable autolocks. For other models, there is a sequence in the owner's manual about page 91. I see no way to automatically unlock when keyed off or put into park.

The first two things I will do on Friday (delivery date) will be to turn off the seatbelt reminder and deprogram the auto door locks!

So, does anyone know for sure if we can de-program the auto door locks"?

Has anyone seen these programming functions in the Owners Manual?

I thought the auto-perimeter lighting (activated by remote entry) was a pain too...I deactivated that one last night

Same with the 04's. The back doors must have the lock buttons pulled up by hand in order for the door handles to work. This is why, if you look close, the rear lock buttons protude out of the door panels where as the fronts disapear when locked. They should have programed them to unlock automatically also. Add it to the 05 want list...

Yes, they can be de-programmed and the instructions are in the owner's manual.... I haven't really looked for it in the manual because I like the feature, but if you have a Lariat, it may be in the message center... just scroll through the choices. Otherwise, you'll have to go through the multi-step procedure illustrated in the manual.
