Mid-year Changes?

Over the weekend I order a F-150 Lariat and then canceled the order after deciding the black interior was too dark (I've never been a big fan of black) and the "tan" interior was really way too white.

I still can't believe Ford only made too leather options available in their top of the line truck - and one of the options is, well.... pretty much white.

I'm going to call Ford today to suggest that if they are betting the company on this truck (as they and everyone says they are) then they might think about providing more reasonable interior choices on their TOP OF THE LINE truck.

What are the chances of Ford introducing a new leather color for the 2004? Has this been done before or is it likely this won't happen until 2005?

I really like the sport black interior, and tan looks great in the wood trimmed interior. I don't think Ford would add more colors. Maybe Flint? Reds, blues, and browns look great in sports cars or luxury cars, but probably wouldn't do so well in the truck market.

They offer the flint leather in the fx4 so I wouldn't think it would be too big a deal to offer that in the lariat.

I would suggest you wait and buy the new titan. Hopefully they will have the right colored leather.:o :o
