How Much Are You Willing to Pay?

How much is the going rates at your local dealerships on the FX4 F150 4x4's and how much are you willing to pay for one?

No more then $20,000
Between $20-25,000
Between $25-28,000
Between $28-30,000
From $30,000-35000
More?

Hopefully this thread can help people get a general conensus on what the rates are, what people would be willing to pay and possibly some insights into what they themselves should be paying for it. Also, if you have already purchased a F150, and are comfortable sharing what you spent for it, please do so.

Thanks!

PS. I'd be willing to spend between $25-28k.

That would entirely depend on how it is optioned, wouldn't it?

For instance, I am getting a Lariat 4x4 that stickers at about $41K. You can get Lariats that sticker for about $28K...

I'm paying X-Plan (about 36K) and regardless of if you can get X-Plan or not, you shouldn't EVER be paying a couple of hundred over invoice...

Shop around people...

Again, www.edmunds.com is a great starting place.

This thread has been beat to dath on this Forum. The question is too broad. Ask specifics. Search this Forum for info.

I think there was about $1200 of holdback on mine that goes right into the dealers pocket. You can remind them of that when you are bargaining based on invoice prices. Also, people in southern CA aren't going to get the same pricing as people in Texas. Some dealers aren't willing to deal at all. Good luck.

Is mentioning the word "holdback" a hot button to dealers? One salesmen was insulted and started yelling at me for even mentioning it, needless to say I left, quick.

I got mine for invoice (plus fdaf and fuel), from another dealer
