Rear Seat Removal?

Does anyone have suggestions on how to remove the upper portion of the rear seat in an '04 Crew? I pushed my hand back there and there is a lot of space behind the seatback towards the bottom. Perfect location for mounting amps or a small sub enclosure. Thanks in advance for your help.

I did it...I used the directions on Motorcraft.com... It is kinda a pain to do but there are two clips you have to push in with a screwdriver...the directions help but you really need two people to do it There is a lot of room back there...esp if you do not have the power sliding rear window.

You can also get to the bolts to remove the Child safety seat tethers that stick up in front of the sliding window.

If you need the PDF I have it

John, can you send that pdf to georgeturi@hotmail.com.

I know there has been threads about this before, but I can't get the thing off. There is something about going to my leather seats with a screwdriver. I just want to make sure I can get as much info on the removal before I head on in there again.

Thanks
