I returned from vacation hoping my truck was waiting for me and well........ The VOPC says "your truck has been shipped by convoy carrier 3/17/04". The dealer call to find out were it was and "Ford" said it was in Norfolk on Quality Control Hold. Please tell me it didn't fall off the truck. I'm glad I didn't sell my car yet.

they only gave the the last eight numbers of my VIN, is this enough for a check? If so I would appreciate one, if its not too much trouble, so I know when to sell my old truck (accursed piece of GMC trash!)

Try and recreate your VIN by using the decoder earlier in this thread.

For example all Ford Trucks start with *1FT*...Then dependong on the GVWR and cab style you can try and reconstruct the rest.
