Another thing you should do is the bulb swap mod from the crappy 9145 bulb to the 9005.

I did this relay mod, and then switched to the 9005 cool blues in my fogs, and that REALLY makes a world of difference. I did it back in November, and have yet to be flashed by oncoming or pulled over by the police. The cool blues are easier on the eyes.

Plus, the 9145 is a 45W bulb, and the 9005 is a 65W bulb.

Works great.

Cool blues are ok, but have you tried Silverstars???? Much better in my opinion.

I got around to doing the folight mod today, is took a little longer than expected. I took a dremel to grind away the excess plastic so I could bend the pin over. Then I wired it up like shown, and put it together. The hardest part for me was that there is no room to work. I'm not a very hefty guy just tall and linky and I was stuggling to do some things in that tight space. But with a little patience I finally got it. Going to test it out tonight on the way to town.

It is very cramped down there. I ad to contort all kinds of upsidedown to do that mod...

Awesome mod though.. and only cost about 50 cents

First of all, no one should be using 9005s anymore. The 9145st is out there. It is the correct bulb, last a lot longer (the 9005 is rated for about 60 hours of use), and they don't blind on-coming traffic because they are properly shielded (if that is even the correct terminology). Do everyone on the road a favor, and get 9145s instead of 9005s...
