Hey DrPaul,

Nice to see a former Jbody owner. I was on jbody.org quite a few years ago and hung out with the founder out here in socal a few times. I haven't really found any other busier forums than this one. If you find one let me know.

Post some pics of your cav if you get a minute.

If you have a choice and the money get the Lariat...A new one with 0% loan from ford credit...You get Ford warranty near where you live for service if you have any problems...It has many extras and a better resale later...Look for the 5.4 motor , extra Transmission cooler ,etc and check what tires they give you...Look for Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos...Read the reviews on the tirerack.com ....If you do your homework now you will make a better deal than anything on E-Bay and have a new rig to boot...This site has all the info you will need to do that for you...We want you to win and learn from our tips...

Nice looking car...

Nice looking Cavalier. I got my Lariat for invoice and then had a $2000 F150 rebate and a $1000 Ford Financing Rebate to bring the price down some more.

Not sure how well I did on getting it at invoice but atleast it will give you a benchmark to work with. I think I could have got another $500 off but it was the only one like it for 500 miles (I called 1/2 a dozen other dealers and they all said the same).

well heres the thing, the lariat is goin for 29g BRAND NEW on ebay...with the 5.4L 4x4...so i think its a good deal, and i can finance with them, and bargain....its a local ford dealership, so basicly im gonna treat it as a regular buy, not an ebay buy, if C&C Ford didnt burn down, i would go to them, but we had a huge fire their last year....that was a pain to put out , maybe ill get a firefighter discount...hey we helped save some fords, but the ones that blew up...we couldnt do much with lol

Im at the beach my man. All the way down. What exit you ask? Exit 4, the last one on the GSP. Im in North Cape May.

Trust me, your gonna love this truck. I traded my 02 Mustang GT for it and I love it more everyday. Let me know if your ever down this way. Oh I bet you will be here in sept right..firemans convention. Wildwood is crazy during that convention.

Good luck holding out 'til monday.

Hello. I've been eyeing this truck for months now. I love the styling and how roomy it is. I currently have a 99 Mazda B2500 (a Ford Ranger).

Yesterday, I test drove a XLT Crew Cab, and it felt sweet!!. MSRP was over 34K. Without mentioning any numbers they offered 28.5K to take it off their lot.

I was hesistant. Why so low. Getting rid of 04s to stock the 05s, I guess. How much will my insurance go up. got to check with the wife. etc......

Came to this website and you guys provided some good info.

My question is....is this a good price. Want to take a 72month loan (5.9%). Has anyone been sucessful in getting it for 27K and a lower APR.

Thanks in advance!!!

Go to edmunds.com to see what the invoice price is and then take off the rebates. If the price is close to the invoice minus rebates then it is a good deal.

Is that $28.5 before rebates? F-150's have been selling at invoice for a couple of months now (I bought mine for $200 below invoice before rebates in april), don't negotiate with a dealer based on MSPR and how much off MSRP it is, invoice is the number to negotiate from, you can get a good idea from edmunds.com. You can always take the financing and then refinance if you find a better rate. Good luck!
