My 2001 Lariat is very special and works better than I thought it would...Love driving it and keep it garaged...I may get a truck blanket if it gets to cold in the garage this winter...

Of course like one guy here had to say and I have to agree with him..."I was happy with my truck until Shermy and Eddy posted all those pics. Bastards "

Boy what a great group of rigs on here...Ford makes a nice working rig...I drove the new Five Hundred today and it was like driving a dream..what a smooth car with the 6 speed trans and 17" wheels...and room in the trunk for 3 1/2 Chevy owners...

My truck is nearly perfect. My *only* gripe is with the "shiftless" transmission! Why, oh why won't Ford offer a standard, clutch pedal, stick on the floor, do-it-yourself transmission? I absolutely hate this stupid automatic!

Well, not the only gripe, now that I think of it. The windshield wipers on the signal light lever quite often p*$$es me off. I go to make a turn, take a swipe at the lever, and although the signal lights go on, so do the wipers, smearing bugs and crap all across the windshield! What's wrong with putting the wiper switch on the dash (like it used to be)?

And the headlight beam changer on the signal light lever! Gives you two choices while making a turn: Leave your high beams on so the guy coming at you can't see and smashes into you, or let go of the wheel and change to low beams so the guy can see you smashing into him cause you don't have the wheel in your hands! Especially with no clutch, not having it on the floor (like it used to be) is just stupid!

And one other thing. Did you all know these things have a tattle-tale computer in them? Get in an accident and have the air bags deploy. The last 10 seconds of your trip has been saved for the insurance companies and law enforcement for dig out and use against you!

But! The question was: Is it all I expected? Yeah, it is. It is the tightest, quietest, nicest riding, best handling pickup available!

All in all, I'm glad I bought it.

None here either...

I had no idea these trucks had problems until I got on here. But as it is, 10K and not a thing wrong.

There is only one word to describe my truck and that is AWSOME! 2 months 2k miles, the only problem is the old lady complaining that I don't give her attention anymore because of my new truck.

Absolutely everything I wanted. Even though the slider window motor has been replaced twice, it is still great, and that is no big deal. Awesome truck, glad I bought it!!!
