I love mine. About 15,000 miles and no problems. Mods keep coming little by little.

Far from perfect

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, maybe I should post on another thread, but I have had a number of problems.

Since the day I got it trans problems, slipping between 1st & 2nd then banging into second so hard it went into limp mode. 3 trips to dealerships for that.

Now the noise that I thought was the idler pulley going bad is actually a timing belt or "some other valvetrain noise" as per the dealership. First time I took it in they insisted that it was a bad serpentine belt. So I'm driving a rental again and my 5.4 with 40K is in pieces at the dealership. I'm really doubting if this truck is going to last me another 60k.

I had 4 other F150's before this, never saw the dealership.

The rental is a 05 F150 4.6 ext xlt that runs flawlessly! But its just not MY truck!

You just had to break the streak. My ol' mans 04 supercrew lariat 5.4 is flawless, except where somebody keyed the driver side box. Hope getting the box side repainted you wont notice it comparing it to the factory paint. It is getting reprogrammed for a possible hesitation. My complaint is that its going to get me a reckless driving or speeding ticket from all that power. My 99 4.6 will have to get me buy until i can afford one.

If I was any happier with my truck, it would hurt.

You're right, read the title of the thread. You should have posted in a different thread.

Yep, this thread is only for the 99.9% of F150 owners whose trucks are flawless.
