Hey guys, I haven't been able to post much lately with school, work, the holidays and such. I have been able to work quite a bit and have decided to set aside around $500 for my truck. I have the 04 5.4L v8 lariat truck and I was wondering what you guys think I should spend the money I've set aside on. I have been wanting to get a little more power, yet also adding onto the looks of my truck. I've been thinking of a dual exhaust kit, yet I'm not sure if this is going to void my warranty, ( I have to call and ask). What do you guys think?

 

Get a tuner first. Too many reasons for getting a tuner and zero negatives. Find one person here that has bought a tuner and regrets it, you can't. But you can find lots of people who spent $$$ for exhaust and then ended up replacing it again a year or two later.

 

I second the tuner, if I had $500 for preformance thats the first thing I would do.

Send the $500.00 to me so i can get a tuner...
Either that or i would switch my XLT rims out for the ones that Ford put on the Lariat.

 

I'd use the money as a down payment on new wheels and tires.
