If you do that, PLEASE let me know how it turns out.

I'd like to do my handles, tailgate handle and *gulp*, mirrors but, I know that's a lofty goal.

I've used the Krylon Fusion paint and its almost impossible to mess up unless you really don't know how to spray. Does anyone know if they make a special clear for the Krylon Fusion? When I used the Fusion I just used some clear I found laying around. Since I already put the chrome handles on my truck, Im thinking about doing the mirrors.

Sorry about my last post (no excuses)

But i wouldnt advise using fusion paint. You wont be able to match your color truck unless you dont care and want them shinny black.

asinatra,

When I saw this I got real excited and showed my wife, saying "Look Honey! Wouldn't this look really nice on our truck?" Her face clouded over while she thought about how to word her answer. She finally said "Sweetheart, I think you're far too AR to do this. I put up with you constantly reminding me to use the handle to close the door so I don't get fingerprints on the painted part. I am simply not going to wear cotton gloves every time I get near that thing!"

You know, she's right. I'd get to hating myself for touching the handles! So! I'm gonna keep the pictures you sent and from time to time I'll look at them and think "Damn! That looks nice!". Good work!

The easy way to not get fingerprints on the door is to Grab the inside handle and swing it shut. haha I even had to teach my GF to do this with my Old f-150 with painted handles. Trust me it beats leaving grease prints on the paint.

... still waiting on a complete "how to" write-up from asinatra. I want EACH and EVERY detail you can provide (please). Sorry, but I'm the type of guy who likes instructions ... who (for the most part) will read them before tackling a new mod job.

Does the LT come with color-keyed mirrors, handles, and such?
