For the money that you will have to spend you might as well do a whole conversion making the full glass go up and down.

I don't know what your talking about..

I just said I got my truck with the "full window" meaning it isn't split into 3 sections like the windows that the sliding rear window has...

They sure do. I've had mine in 3 times and it's good for about 2 - 3 weeks and it starts ratteling again. Starting to get P'od.. Wonder what the Lemon law is in CA. Would suck for them to give me a new ride just for a squeeky window.

Their next move is to replace it. Again.

power rear slider

I watched a conversion to a power rear slider done to a Ford pickup on the DIY network. It looked like it was not too hard.

Can anybody comment on the up/down factory power rear window? I just bought a new plain F150 and it sounds like it could be convenient for ventilation. What is it like driving with the window down?

Does the factory kit reuse the existing one piece glass?

Because vibrations are fun... but rattles are annoying.

Old thread being dug up,but it can be done using same window and sliding window. After looking thru the wire diagrams and lots of comparing between my truck and my buddy's that has a power sliding window I knew it could be done. Today I went to the wrecking yard and found a 05 lariat with a smashed power slider. (all three sections) I got everything I needed for $50 and installed it today using all of my manual window. I took some pictures and will put them together along with a write up of what you need and how to do it. Can't get better than power slider upgrade for $50!!!
