thx

and kelmvor, thx to u too

1st of all, there is no actual GT f150, so its not like im copying something that i dont have. i ordered the "GT F150" body kit, and was bidding on the "GT F150 sema truck on ebay and lost. i recieved a secong offer to buy it and i would have if i didnt already buy this truck. and the whipple 2.3 is on my list of mods to do, so i think "GT F150" will be appropriate.

the hemi comment was just insulting...

Looks GOOD!!

I was thinking of putting an F150 with a stripe on the hood where it transitions from high to low ( I may have seen this somewere) I think it would be cool and suttle.

Thrill Racing, yeah i have seen that before i think, on a Lightning, and it does look good so go for it!

and yeah im doing the dual stripes over the bumper, hood, roof and tailgate. i cant get it 100% done yet as i havent received the body kit yet and i will have to do the new bumper and roll pan when they come in

Very nice! I like the hood stripes on the GT F-150 better than the Roush. They are a bit wider and fill the truck better.

If it was so insulting being compared to a Dodge why are you copying the stripes that came factory on my Ram SS/T?

In all seriousness I really like the stripe on the side...it looks great! Being your truck is a regular cab the twin racing stripes should look good too, but on a extra cab or screw they would look like crap!

BTW...I suggest a slight taper front to back on the stripes. The stripes on my Ram went from 11in in the front to 12 in on the back edge of the hood (then 12in all the way back from there). The taper is along the outside edge of the stripe. The slight taper was not noticable, but I have seen others that were straight and they just didn't look right.

ramss/t, no lol i have nothing against the hemi, its a good motor no doubt. the sarcasm in his tone is what urked me

and that makes sense about the stripes. i might try it, but it might be diffucult for me to cut...

here is another picture of the truck im trying to clone. hard to tell if its stripes narrow on the hood. i do know that if i ripped the hood stripes down, i will have to make the rest of the front 11".... more cutting...
