So you guys are saying that the AF1 is not noticably louder than stock??? That kick's as$. That's gonna be my birthday present...
On a side not, do you have to do anything to the Xcalibrator if you install a mod, exhuast, intake, etc? Just wondering.
A Xcalibrator & an AF1 will be mine in the near future. Oh yes, they will be mine...

Also, if it's like the 1714 max tuner, it reset's your PCM when you install it...Kevin

Ok, not to be **** here but I have a question for RP or Marc. Where these things tested on a dyno for a lean condition? If the computer is throwing a lean code then they must make the truck go lean. I remember a post awhile back from Mike saying some of these intakes make the 5.4 go dead lean, does this one not do that? I would love to have one but like all of you I don't want to screw up an engine thats under warranty. Thanks in advance for any input.

AFO
RockPick,
Since you had the exhaust and the Xcalibrator on first did you need to get the Xcalibrator re programmed after the AFO install? I ask this because I only have the exhaust at this time and I'm not sure what to buy next, the tuner or the AFO. Cant aford to get them both at the same time. I'm thinking AFO first then the tuner, but if you did not have to get the tuner reprogramed maybe I get it first. Any suggestions?
P.S. What is TEM5 Computer Code?

Apparently I was not giving the PCM enough time to reboot while leaving the battery disconnected for only 5 minutes.
I am suggesting that all '04 model installations be done with the battery disconnected from start to finish. [/B]
