this may have been discussed before, but ive noticed that sometimes my truck pulls like hell in 1st over around 3k rpms, and sometimes it just seems to lag and puke its way into second... now i know these things are tuned like crap from the factory, but shouldnt the power band be more consistent? maybe its the auto tranny, but on my '01 4.2 5 speed, its pulls the same every time...

did anyone else notice this and is this one of the things a tuner would cure?

mine used to do the same thing.... tpld the dealer I had throttle lag and they reflashed the PCM.... lots better now
