The Tailgate Needs Something Else... Pics in Post #223 & #257
Everytime I pull into the garage in my wife's Explorer and see my truck sitting there, I tend to draw focus on the fact that I have a BILLBOARD of a Ford oval in the center of the tailgate, a KR F150 Badge on the left side, and the right side is naked...
While I know some of the FX4 guys have added the FX4 logo (which looks PERFECT there IMO), I'm struggling to figure out something to 'equal out' the appearance on the gate.
Obviously, I'm wanting to go with something that looks 'stock' (no Dodge 4x4 emblems)... I kicked around the idea about a 'V8' stick on there (like the ones that are on the back of the Explorers (in fact, like the one on my wife's Explorer)) but, I just don't think it's big enough to serve the purpose of balancing the gate...
Any thoughts?

Would I consider vinyl... probably not. I've never been much of a fan of vinyl on paint... at all.
I'd much rather have an emblem... FoMoCo really needs an updated looking 4X4 logo.

I think you have to be careful what you put on the tailgate because you don’t want something that’s going to look tacky. proceed with caution
