Sweet... I think it will be a matter of cost and availiblity for me... with all the delays with the AF1 that might kill it for me. What did yall pony up for the K&N setup?

I found it for $190.00 at a local parts store...they had to order it in for me...got a "discount" because I ordered it through my work (a diesel engine repair shop) since they have better pricing.

It was a while ago, but I think it was ~$230. I can check my receipt when I get home for the price and who I ordered it from.

Any idea what the part number is for a 2005 5.4? I can't find one on K&N's page.

Same here,. Does anyone know the part #. The only one i've see was all chrome and was the 77 series and C.A.R.B certified but the best price I could find was over $ 300

I have the aircharger on my '04. When they first came out this was all they had, no 77 series or 57 series FIPK. The aircharger is the same thing as the FIPK but without the CARB certification. Looks like the aircharger is no longer offered for the '04 because it has been replaced with the CARB certified 57/77 series FIPK. This will most likely be the same case for the '05's, Aircharger first, CARB certification, FIPK. You would assume the '05 is the same as the '04 but it probably hasn't passed CARB certification for the '05 specifically. You can either wait or ****** up the aircharger like I did. Also they may give the '05 FIPK a new part number.

BTW, Aircharger for the '05 Part# 63-2556, 57 series is the plastic FIPK, and 77 series is the chrome FIPK.

Clear as mud?

I thought I Saw somewhere on here Dyno's of the AirRaid Vs. The AF1, nothing to do with the K&N (Sweet truck by the way) but just saying all intakes are not created equal. Although 5HP isnt that big of a diff anyway and Im sure the K&N is somewhere in that vicinity.
