First go round on the paint and they were way to dark. Back to the paint store to get another batch. Ive had to back off this weekend. Im droping another layer of insolation in the attic as well as replacing some of the heat ducts. Figured I better get that done before the cold weather sets in.

I can tell everyone this: I havent painted in a few years and the cost of paint has gone through the roof. If I had to do it over again I would just disassemble them and drop them off at a body shop.

2 oz of Bright Red $18, 1 QT of clear $20, 1 spray can of primer $10. Hell for just a few dollars more I could have had someone else do the work.

I went to the dealership today to order a set of the silver handles. After about 20 minutes, he told me that I have the wrong part #s. Then he found them, and quoted me $110 for the driver's side front, $60 for the passenger side front. He said that they don't have a silver metallic tailgate handle, only black. This is why I hate fooling with the dealership. Is there anywhere else I can order a set (online or otherwise).

Thanks

What are my options since I have keyholes only on the right and left side of my xlt supercab. Looked at the LT's today and all I saw was without anything and with keypad only. Can I get the ones with the keypad and just not use it or can I get the ones without and just use my remote and hope the batteries dont die on me? Didn't see any with keyhole only.

Door Handles - Monochromatic Arizona Biege

I have been looking at the Mark LT handles. I like the idea of having everything monochromatic, as I am working on getting all of the chrome off the truck ..... New DeModa Intimidator 20 x 10 wheels in black with Terragrapplers, N-Fab Arizona Biege Nerfs, Painted mirrors, now I am down to the door handles.

Anyone have information on if the LT's can be ordered monochromatic? Am I better off just having the body shop paint the existing handles and buckets? Any help would be appreciated.

The drivers door with the keypad has a keyhole too. Your only option would be to ge the keypad and keyhole drivers side and no keyhole passangers side. The Keypad doesnt have to be used, but you cant get the handle with the keyhole in it without the pad.

When you order these does the bucket come with the handle or do you have to order each piece seperately? Is there a write up on how to install them? TIA

Its all one piece. There is a really good write up on installation here. I'm not sure but I think it was by RamSS/T.

Sorry, I have little experience in painting...what is the best color to order if I was to paint the buckets to bright red? I assume white. Any advice?

Thanks,
-Kris
