Does anyone know exactly what they have to do for TSB 06-19-14 NO CRANK/ STARTER TERMINAL FATIGUE?

I will let you guys know how it goes. Wish me well.
According to the TSB, Ford has a new starter terminal wiring pigtail kit that they use to replace the terminal connection to the starter. Other than that, there really isn't much additional information in the TSB.

Good luck!

Alright guys I have my truck back from the dealer.

They installed the wiring pigtail kit as directed by TSB 06-19-14. They replaced the wire terminal at the the starter terminal.

I talked to the mechanic and explained to him what my problems have been in the past (going inside store, grabbing a drink coming back out and nothing happens)..... he said that this should correct it.

Well personally I think Ford should issue a recall for this problem. Cuz apparently alot of us are having the same problems. There's no telling how many more that do not know about this site that are having the same problems.

I am praying that this will fix my bad start problems once and for all. You guys out there having the same problems, should take your truck in and have them do this TSB to your truck.

I want to thank Anthony for posting the TSB, I would have never known if you hadn't posted. Thanks bud!

I will post back here and report how my truck is doing.

Date: 12/15/2006 Had TSB 06-19-14 done, will see how it goes.

Does this TSB have any build date restrictions? Because I'm having this problem frequently too.

Just reporting back as promised.

It is 1/18/2007 and so far the TSB I had done a little over a month ago has fixed my trucks starting problems.

I will continue to report each month.

06 KR 4x4 Intermittent no-start

I have been experiencing exactly what Stargum and others have described over the last two months. Basically, it sounds like the starter motor is disengaging while cranking and no start. Thanks for the TSB info. I will take my truck to the dealer and point out the TSB and hope it fixes it like it did for you. I really does suck to hope in your awesome looking truck and sit there cranking it like some old junkyard beater!

It sounds like your batter cables might not be tight. Clean off your battery posts. Check to see if the speedometer needle, RPM needle, etc "fluctuate" when it's not starting.

If the PATS wasn't getting a reading it would throw several Check Engine Lights (CELs). I know this because I removed the PATS "ring" from the ignition while trying to wire up my push button start. I believe I can hotwire the truck using a combination of these wires and applying juice to the starter wire.

I too have starting problems, the other day I just replaced my fuel filter. Not the problem. Maybe an injector problem, but I'm leaning towards fuel pump. I have ran on "E" many times, pump has been without lubrication at these times. I'm guessing on a new vehicle the dealerships will have computers do their own diagnostics on these components.

My problems had to happen to me a few times before I convinced the dealer to do it for me.

I bugged the stew out of em. Everytime it happened to me I called right then, the very moment it happened.

Good luck.
