Kleen Wheels

I probably get hammered for this but:: I changed my pads to ceramics and they helped about 60% but im a greedy motha and dont want any brake dust so im looking at the Kleen wheels. Does somebody have a pic of their rims/tires w/ these on, preferably on an XLT. Thanks.

I only have Lariat wheels on an STX.

Silver wheel

Arizona Beige

No loss in stopping, even when pushed hard down from Big Bear.
No dust, except the dust that settles from the garage roof.
They have been on there 1500 miles or so now. I'm completely happy with them.

Cool

Ive had the Kleen Wheels now for about 4 months, They work fine but you still get some MINOR dust on your wheels. nothing a quick wipe wont get rid of. I have an FX4 and dont have any pics of the wheels but just imagine a dark gray almost black color where your wheel openings are. It almost matches the color of the painted areas on my 18" wheels.
ahh chrisadams beat me to it.

Thank you.
I have to agree on rims. I find that I like the look of the Lariat rims better than 95% of the aftermarket. A lot of the guys will disagree, but I really think Ford got that look right.

Oh, and on the Kleen wheels, I bought the front set for 30 something, plus shipping, normal price at a low price vendor on line, but the rear set (yeah, I'm lazy, I put them on both ends) cost 20 bucks including shipping. A vendor on e-bay. After you look up your part number, you can search for it on ebay and maybe save twenty bucks. I didn't see the ad till after I bought my first set.

You can put the 17's on 18 inch rims. I have a shot of that.

It was another pair I got to play with. These are 17' Navigator kleen wheels, 5 bucks plus 5 bucks shipping. I figured I could always use em for something else. They worked pretty good. Had to center them 'manualy' when putting the rims on, not a big job. I would have left them if I hadn't found the right ones really cheap. Swapped them to the neigbor, he put them on his XLT, just the fronts. Handles the big problem dust, and he doesn't care about the minor dust on the rear.

Chris

Just remember even with all 4 if you get your tires rotated they must stay on the same side no crossing on the left rims to the right, etc. because then the vents will face backwards. I think most people rotate front to back so it isnt a big deal but just in case I'd figure I'd mention it.

True. But you can pop them out rather easily.
