I can't say this enough Thump, nice truck. When do they estimate the tires coming in?
Thanks, Im not sure. I had ordered the Toyo Open Country M/Ts but when I was in 4 Wheel Parts, I asked about the Nitto Mud Grapplers and they said they were also on National Back-Order. Im still thinking about switching my order to Nitto Mud Grapplers. I can't make up my mind.

hey thump...do you plan on re gearing with the 35's? think it will be necessary?
I can't answer this question with that much knowledge but I know my truck feels fine with the 33s and my 3.73 gears. Im going to eventually re-gear my truck but Im not going to do it for a while. I am however going to get a Xcal 2. If I remember correctly someone said that firmer shifts will actually improve a transmission's life so Im thinking that would help some what.

Yeah man, the fox shocks will work perfectly with a 6" lift. I think they look
sweet.

Thump you asked the question, do you really need resevior shocks in the rear, and the question is how hard are you going to go off road, if you are going down a trail fast, and the rear suspension need to rebound a lot then yes because the stock rear shock oil will basically boil, but if you are going to just go over rocks, boulders and go in mud, probably not. As far as the Mud Grapplers, I have 35's soon to go to 37's and they are loud, very loud actually one of the loudest tires on the market, my buddy has the toyo M/T's and they are quieter, but the Mud Grapplers look awesome, so I will take a little more noise for a more agressive tire. Just and FYI, the guy at 4 wheel parts told me that I will not need an add a leaf or a body lift to add the 37's just need to crank a little on the front coil overs, no not all the way so the ride sucks just about half. Your truck looks good, but I would love to see it DIRTY!!!!!!!

Yeah what he said ^. Your truck looks awesome sitting there all clean.....but nobody really goes to a NASCAR race to watch guys drive around in a circle now do they?? But you do deserve applause for building an off-road capable truck and actually using it. Theres a guy here in my town with a 04 Chevy Z71, 6 inch, 35" MTR's, grille/nerfs/tail gaurds....kid has nightmares of his truck being driven on a gravel road. He lives in a suburb and the truck has never been off pavement and i'd bet it never will be. Makes me wanna puke. Another rich brat has a Superduty, similar set-up, 2 or 3 grand in the stereo, untold amount in the vast expanses of carbon fiber interior pieces. Garaged over the winter, afraid he'll get a little salt on it and it'll fall apart. They're trucks people, run'em till the wheels fall off, then go get another one.

I just spent about an hour cleaning all the nooks and crannies with high pressure water, only to find out that everyone is going out this weekend to go mudding for pictures for the yearbook.

PS: Someone really needs to design something to stop the mud from building up in the bumper and all the nooks underneath the wheel well.
