Unhappy EATC acting wired

Same **** different truck, Now in my 04 Lariat the EATC was acting wired. Yesterday leaving work it was kind of dark so the automatic lights turned on. Then I started to see the light on the EATC turn on and off, on and off, but only those buttons. So I turned on the air to see what will happen. And now it will blow air and stop, blow air and stop. So I drove straight to the dealer so they could see it in action. Left it there I will keep you posted to see what they say. Oh yeah, I also asked to check if my truck had the latest pcm update, and he said he'll check on that, hopefully I get my flash.

Sorry, for those of you that don't know what this is (EATC) Electronic automatic temperature control. It's on the Lariat, King Ranch, and Harley.

Luckily I haven't had any problems with my truck yet (knock on wood).

There is a special service message for this, pull the fuse that powers the EATC in the central junction box (or disconnect the battery) to temporarily reset the module. If it acts up again, there's a revised control head to install.

Mine has been doing something funny lately too. When it is cool outside, for instance 70-75 deg. When the temperature setting on the EATC approaches the temperature on the info center, the air will blow out of the defrost ducts. I can drop the temp on the EATC and it will blow out of the dash vents. Does this happen to anyone else?
