Code Alarm Install Help, Please..
I just installed a Code Alarm (Power Code) RKE/VSS/RMST
everything works great, Factory Keypad arms and disarm like it should, Doors lock and unlock, starts fine....
The question I have is the proximity lighting (Headlights and all) that comes on a night with the factory remote will not come on with the Code Alarm Remote....Any way to get this working??? Is there a wire I need to hook up to trip the proximity lighting off when I press the unlock??
Any advice from the Ford Guys on here who install these systems on a daily basis....
Thanks in advance for any help...

Did you add the optional relay on connection c10, the red and white wire?
Chris
Whoops, forgot, if you added the relay on C10, did you program the module?
Option Bank 4 – 7 chirps
1 – Aux1 (Headlight) time
LED On – 20 seconds, LED Off – .5 seconds .................................................. .... On (20 sec.)
2 – Aux2 (Rear defroster) time
LED On – 10 minutes, LED Off – .5 seconds .................................................. ........ Off (.5 sec.)
3 – Aux3 time
LED On – .5 seconds, LED Off – Time held .................................................. .................. On (.5 sec.)
4 – Aux4 time
LED On – .5 seconds, LED Off – Time held .................................................. ................. On (.5 sec.)
5 – Aux4 remapped to Aux1
Switches headlight output to AUX functionality, controlled by pressing
Find/Panic & Start buttons simultaneously. .................................................. ............. Off
I think I have spent five times as much time getting all my settings the way I want than I did putting in the alarm system...

No, I didn't add the optional relay on C10 for the headlights because it looked like to me that it still would'nt cut the lights on with the unlock button on the remote....
I would have to press extra buttons to turn on the lights and i'm trying to keep it simple like the factory remote... one button (unlock)....
If it can be done like that, if not i'll add the relay to C10...

If the headlight relay is wired into the brain, will the headlights come on whenever the doors are unlocked, day or night?
I don't know if this possible but it is a thought. Instead of wiring the headlight relay to the brain, can you use the autolamp sensor to trigger the headlight relay?
