the 5.4 3 valve varible timing give a rough idle?

If it's not working properly, it could, but no, it shouldn't.

My truck had a rough idle from the day i bought it. Just yesturday that changed when the dealer finally fixed it. New TSB to change motor mounts, and reflash PCM, now its like a new truck.
