IT's a replacement for the stock and allows a larger screen and the hu to be installed where the cigarette lighter originally was. I saw this on a setup from the video section. Here is the link. This is sweet. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/500371
Be sure to look at the different pages (1-4). Pretty nice setup.

Page 3 tells you who did it. I'd ask them.

I like the screen size. It stinks that you'd lose the wood trim and have a tiny radio down at the bottom. This is an impossible mod for those with reverse sensing.
I bet it is a very costly mod too.

You wouldn't have to lose the Lariat woodgrain if that's what you have. This guy chose to lose it since he has a Lariat already. He could've kept the woodgrain IMO. And this guy simply moved his Reverse Sensing System "P" button (see below). Of course, I would have probably put it elsewhere on the dash or at least accessible from the driver's seat. Yes, it may be a little pricey if you're having others do it ... but certainly do-able either way. But if you have the funds to put in such a navigation system and aftermarket HU, then you can afford to do whatever's necessary in this dash area. Must be nice to have what I like to call "crazy" money.

I dont like it. if it came in carbon fiber or wood trim it would be alrite but I still wouldnt buy this setup for myself. A larger screen is nice but not nice enough to have to drill holes all over your truck to relocate the reverse sensing button. Its also will be expensive and it dosent even look that good. The aftermarket HU dosent flow with the look of the dash. Id rather get an 2 din nav unit over that.
