Well, thats the SIMPLE answer. But in the long run, you have to believe there is another manufacturer out there that could produce the tire in bulk for Ford at a comprable price and be a better quality tire.

It seems like in the long run, it'll cost Ford more in public relations etc.

This will be the fifth visit. If they don't fix it this time I will raise heck, pointing out the next time will be the SIXTH time its in. In Tennessee they have only three times to fix the problem. So, they'll either get me new tires that AREN'T Generals/Conti's or they'll be finding us a new truck.

And, if its not the tires ... well ... This truck was built in 08/05 ... that's more then enough time for Ford to figure out what is causing this.

This is beyond silly at this point.

And, this comes from someone (me) who has lways bought and driven Fords, and this is incredibly frustrating.
