I think the one you chose was just remote start without the security feature. There are three types that you can get just remote start, remote start with keyless entry and remote start with keyless entry and security.

I've got one of the higher end Clifford LCD 2-Way Alarm/Remote Start units and got it for $400 installed with all of the sensors.

Clifford makes a good unit too forgot about them. Saw Clifford security system installed on 1988 Ferrari Testarossa. Sweet chirp arming and disarming...

Did a dealer do the installation. If not does it void your warranty?

No a local car audio/video store did the installation and no, theres no reason why it would void your warranty. .

can someone look at this link... and please tell me what company makes this alarm ?...I am also looking to buy a alarm and remote start ... and I really like the keychain transmitter thats built into the key .
