Great choice, i really like those tires, but squeezing 295s on a 7.5" rim

I want to widen a set of fx4 rims to fit 305s in the rear

I'm so glad I live down South enough to where I can have the same tires no matter what month/season it is. *drinks sweet tea and whistles dixie*

Get them at Madisonville Tire? I wish you would've told me that you were looking into going that route... I have, shall we say, "connections" there downtown.

Ahh, I see... Not sure I can help out tremendously but, in the future, if you're needing something 'round, rubber, that rolls', let me know.

Uh, yeah. I knew that. Trust me, I have some serious connections there... I'd tip my cards further but, you'll just going to have to believe me on this one.

You've got to trust me on this one too... they're not Neo's.

I am thinking about putting 255/55-18's on my wife's Explorer. Those tires are awesome, but I have a question. They are only like 28" in diameter. Why would you want to drop the tire size so much? Wouldn't a 295/50-18 or a 295/55-18 be a lot closer to the stock diameter?
