I'd stay away from Superlifts. I also have a friend that regrets buying the Skyjacker kit, but take that lightly as I do not know why. I also would stay away from the Stage 1 Procomp lift, it has to be one of the worst designs.

I love my Rancho kit and would highly recommend it. I would also recommend the Fabtech and RCD. I haven't seen a F-150 with a RCD lift yet but Im sure its just like every one of their products, top notch.

Kick ****,

What kind of rim tire setup are you running? As far as backspacing, how far does the tire stick out etc? Where did you pick up those tires? If you don't mind me asking how much were they? Thanx MAX

Ive got 18" Moto Metal 951s with 35" Toyo Open Country MTs. They have 4.5" backspacing 12mm offset. They stick out 1-2" which I like because it is a truck. It is suppose to have a stance like that. Although I do get a lot of mud the side, I need some fender flares. I got the tires at at customwheelsdirect.com down in So Cal. If you havent heard these tires have been on backorder for around 7 months. Im not sure if they are now. I got lucky with these. They were $1,600 shipped which isnt bad considering they are on a major backorder. Good luck. Here are some pics. I will take some of the side to show how the tires stick out.

I just purchased RCD's 6" kit. I will be installing the kit myself this weekend. I will post pics when completed. I hope the install goes ok--looks like there is quite a bit to it.
I have 18x10 Eagle 064 chome wheels with 35" Toyo AT's to go on after the lift.

Kick ***-

Thanks man. It's hard to choose the right tire/wheel combo. Are your wheels 10" wide? Do they rub when you turn? Thanks!

Yea I have been debating my tire and rim combo for a long time before I decided to get these. They ended up being the original setup I wanted. Anyway, the wheels I have are 9" wide 18" tall with 4.5" backspacing. There is no rub what-so-ever.

Can't wait to see the pics of the RCD!!! If you don't mind me asking Justin, how much for the RCD?

Most people are bashing the Pro Comp. Why's that? Looks like it can take a beating from the jumping pic and from the test on Xtreme 4x4 TV.

My Pro Comp 6" lift has been on 15 months.Running 18" Pro Comp rims 6089 (18x9)with 5' bs, shod with 35' 13' 18' Toyo AT.
I'm perfectly happy with this setup. The MX6 coilovers and adjustable rear shocks are great in ride quality.
However I do like the Fabtech crossmember syle.
Nice Kick *** FX4

I was also planning on going with the moto metal 951's, but I had a last minute change of mind, and I went with these..

Any body else have any suggestions on a tire to go on a 17x9 or 18x9 rim?

I will post pics soon. I'm doing the install this weekend. The kit looks to be of great quality. I'm really impressed with the packing and labeling of all the individual parts. One of the main reasons I got the RCD is because of the Bilstein shocks. I got the good guy deal and paid $2250 for the kit. I think it retails for $2500-$2600. I removed and modified my front driveshaft today. I'm taking the driveshaft in for re-balancing tomorrow. Now watch, it will snow 2 feet tonight and I wont even be able to use my four wheel drive because my driveshaft is in my back seat.

Man, I wish I could say that... The Nitto Mud Grapplers keep pulling the front FX4 fender flares out on my truck. It's usually at low speeds, but I kind of wish I went with a less agressive tire, like your Toyos. I've heard nothing but good things about those tires.
