Superchips Microtuner/If You Have One & Have Tried The 3 Different Tunes, Opinions?
I have been running the 87 octane tune on my 2005 Supercrew Lariat 4X4. It really has helped the shifts and overall performance & I am very pleased. Since I can also tow with this tune, I am still debating trying the 91 tow tune. If you have tried both I would be interested in your findings. Thanks.

I "had" one for my 04. I did notice a little increase between the 91 and 87 performance. No mileage increase on either one. I swapped to my EDGE and picked up almost 2 mpg on the Level 3 and 93 octane. I have no intentions of dropping to the level 2.> The power and MPGs are just what the doctor ordered...

Just my opinion here :
Spending the $$ on an 87 octane tune was not even an option for me and other than a log splitter and small trailer for lawn tractor, I do not tow.
I've got the SCT xcal2 product with 3 tunes ( 93 perf/tow and 89 perf ). Loaded the 93 octane as soon as it arrived. I would never even consider anything else than the higher octane tune. $5.00 more per tankful for that ear to ear grin when you nail it, need I say more...
I did go with the 89 octane as the 3rd choice, only because I may take another trip to Yellowstone ( have family in Jackson Hole, WY ) and apparently 89 octane is considered premium fuel at the higher elevations ( I live on east coast and we can readily get Sunoco 94 octane Ultra ) , so I'll bring the tuner along and reflash "down" when needed.
