Pic of my 2006 F150 STX

new here! here's my 06 F150 STX.

Any tips on first mods? What bed liner do you recommend - I am not thrilled with the idea of spraying one on. Also, any tips on lowering this thing 2-3"

Thanks

Level it out... Either lift the front or drop the back. Looks good man!

Absolutely beautiful and congrats! If you're not fond of the spray liners, try the Bed Rug. A lot of folks here installed one and rave about it. I'm not to fond of the plastic drop-in liners though. That's just me. Do a search here for some pics. There are a lot of 4X2 lowering kits out there. Roush and Belltech to name a couple. Again, search for some of the guys on here that have had success as you will find a ton of useful info. Welcome aboard!

Nice truck.
I have the OEM bedliner, its okay. but i have a tourneau cover as well.
You do not even want to get bitten by the mod bug!

I would say start with the things that you are not entirely thrilled with and work your way from there.

Some suggestions- new grille ( i hate that one) , window tint, Satellite radio

I didn't know those wheels came available on the STX. Id say go with power locks and windows for your first mods. Its cheap and you would probably get more out of it than anything else.

Nice truck! I say get an cat-back exhaust system as soon as you can. You'll love the sound. If I were to do it all over again, that's what I would have done first.

When you say "get power doors and windows", do you have a reference to a DIY on this with stock Ford parts, or do you mean have some aftermarket conversion actuators put in? I'd like to do the door locks, i can live without the windows, but I would like to do an OEM conversion if possible.

Wheels---- yes these are the $100 Chrome clad steel option. I didn't like them and preferred the standard machined aluminum, but seems like all the dealers order these trucks with the chrome. I'll trade anyone in california for the standard alum ones.

Me too. I'd rather have the aluminum ones. This dude tried to say I had hubcaps on!

Too bad you don't have the fog lights though....Ford always trying to save money. I haven't seen a '06 STX with 'em yet.

I like the color, great looking truck. Is it a 4x4? What other options did you go for?
