Going to Dyno with Edge tomorrow!

Well I am going to finally make it to the dyno saturday morning at modular depot in Cincinnati. Does anyone have a reccomendation on how to set my edge to get the most power? I am planning on making a run with the stock settings, level two, then level three. I want to see what this thing really does numbers wise. Currently on level three I have it set at 1.60 on fuel, and I only have three runs so I wont have time to fool around with that. Let me know what ou guys think is the best. I will get back with the numbers as soon as I can. Thanks, Rich.

I would like to see the performance difference between tune 2 compared to tune 3 with no setting changed except the timing due to octane used. What octane are you going to use? What are you looking for in the dyno: top end or low end? That will determine your settings.

Hope someone helps you out as far as optimal settings. What are you running the 0-60 in, what about the 1/4th?

Pertaining to the high end or low end, I figured that the level three si more for the upper end powerband, and the level two towing is for the lower end. It would be neat to see the diffreence in power and where its made between the two levels. And I just ran the truck and it done a 0-60 in 6.89, 6.90, and a 6.93 each time getting faster but the 6.89 is its max I would guess. And 1/4 mile time was 15.21 @ 91.5 mph with a 2.34 second 60 foot. And the truck will ave 93 octane in it like it always does.

Edge provides a set of dyno procedures in the instruction manual. You might use them to be sure you get the best results.

Damn, those are good times......is that on level 2 or level 3. I've been able to run just as good on level 2 as level 3 with the lower rpms feeling much stronger on 2. No where's near as good a times as your getting though. I didn't think this was right and emailed back and forth several times with Bill and he agreed that the performance should be better on level 3 .........from top to bottom. He said he was going to look into it after he finished this last update.

I ran a 0-60 in 6.8 sec....supercab also with 93 octane
Yor are correct on level 2 for low end and level 3 performance! If you are to dyno 0-60 turn OD off.

Thanks guys for the tips. I know this sounds crazy, but before I done the exhaust, I had tested the truck many times on level three and consistantly and constantly was getting a 0-60 time of about 7.2-7.24 seconds, and a 1/4 of about 15.4 at about 89/90 mph. Now with the MAC exahaust its a world of differnece in 0-60 and quarter mile times. I didnt think that the exhaust would help that much. I will let you guys know tomorrow evening. Each truck will take about 30 minutes, and I will be about the 10-12th truck in line. Thanks again.

I really need to get my hands on an edge, hopefully Anthony will be sending his soon. I weigh less than you (supercab's with 6.5ft beds weigh a couple hundred more) and you're killing my 0-60's with exhaust and intake. You should feel great, my truck is a 4x4 as well and I am running my 0-60's in ideal conditions, I get mid to upper 7's on average now (post u/d pulley's). I would never have spent so much money on performance if my truck was going to be running like this. It's a combination of the edge and on my part, the flowmaster.
