Can I get away with this???

Hey Im getting my 24's in a little while and the tires im looking at are the 305-35-24 Cooper but there is also a tire by General called the Grabber its a 305-40-24

only difference is:

305-35-24 is 32.41" tall

305-40-24 is 33.61" tall

will those fit on my 04 lariat supercrew 4x4...stock suspension no level kit or nothing....or should I stick with the 32.41"(305-35-24) tall tire?

Thanks in advance peoples

it'll be close- id say you'd be fine- whats the backspacing on your 24"s i know you can fit 33's w/o a level-

I don't know much about 2wd trucks and what fits on them. But, I think it would be a tight fit. There is a chance you could get them to fit with some trimming.

You could try them and if they rub badly you could get a leveling kit for the front. If you really don,t want to get involved with a leveling kit or any cutting i would just go with the smaller tire.

oh... If it is 4wd I would go for it.

They will most likely fit... and if they don't... you should level it anyway!!

They should fit fine...my only concern would be that they are Generals. I have never heard a single good thing about General tires...all the ones I have had any experience with have been cheap, worn unevenly and road like chit. I am not sure how much they cost but I am asuming $1300 or more, and I would HATE to pay that much for a set of General tires of any kind. If you can get that size from any of the big guys I would say go for it...but avoid the Generals. Thats just my opinion though.
