I've got an 06 Scab w/5.4 and 3.55ls rear end....I get about 550 miles per tank, before the "low fuel" light comes on....Haven't gone that far without filling up lately, don't like paying nearly $100 for a tank of gas...

$3.06 here in Phoenix and stupid California oxygenated fuel to boot.
512 miles on 32 gallons in a 35.7 gallon tank all in town stop and go driving. I normally get about 1 MPG better when we switch to normal gasoline.

About 350 mixed driving. Gas slipped a little in price here, I got it for $3.44/gal at costco today.

I've actually gotten quite good gas mileage in the right conditions... 80 degree day, wind at my back, downhill out of west texas. 2 partial tanks for the trip. I measure MPG from top-off to top-off.
First one I got 30.2MPG ... thought I miscalculated. It probably had a little fudge due to the way the truck was sitting on fill-up or something, so I doubt my MPG was actually that high.
Then my next top-off got 27MPG! I couldn't believe it since I couldn't have gotten a "favorable" fill like that 2 tanks in a row!

Haven't seen numbers anywhere near that since. That was with a brand new air filter, too.

I did get 18.2 MPG on my trip this last weekend.

That's with a 5.4L V8 and a cruising speed of about 76.

I've never let mine tank get down to empty, I usually fill up around the 1/4 mark. I usually get about 320 - 330 miles by that point. I just drove down from TN today and got 393 miles (19.1 mpg) before I filled up. That was 100%highway miles. Most of my driving is mixed though and I average around 16 mpg. That's a 2006 SCREW 5.4L with 30 gal tank.

When I'm at 50-50 between city and hwy, I'll get around 440-450. When I fill up it will suck up about 27-28 gals. Not bad mileage. I drive like a turtle and never gas it. 70-75 on the fwy.
