Miles per tank / not mpg

Just curious what you guys are averaging per tank. MPG is great to know but what matters is how far you go before another $75 fill up. I am getting around 411 to 416 miles per tank but I drive like a grandpa. Anybody getting better/worse?

That is a really strange way of looking at it, too me. How far I go between fillups is determined by my MPG. So, I believe MPG is the only real number that counts. It is fun to go a long distance without having to stop, but just means I am getting good MPG.

Yikes... I wish I got what you guys get. I get around 230-240 with a 30 gal tank. 2006 F-150 Supercrew 5.4L. I bought a motorcycle and rely on my girlfriend and her 32 mpg car to take me places.

I'm not interested in either MPG (miles per gallon) or MPT(miles per tank).

What I want to know is TTWPT (trips to work per tank).

I was getting 20 TTWPT.
I got a new job and now I'm only getting 12 TTWPT.

What in heck has caused this drop off?
I installed a lift kit but, I can't believe it made that much difference.

What is your TTWPT?
Just want to know if my truck might not be normal.

You are doing pretty dang good! I only get 5 TTWPT. But then there are a couple of TTGS (trips to grocery store) in there. But 2 TTGS equal about a half of TTW, so I get about 5 1/2 TTWPT. I wish I had your truck.

That wont work, you would not have work to go to to have TTWPT. I am just going to stay home two days a week. That will do it.

My shop is 50 feet from my house,so I don't have to drive to work.My 4 miles a day is to town for a cappacino for my wife and I.I've had my new truck now for 6 months and just got 3k miles on it.My brother and I used to do the bike show circuit and we would pull our cargo trailer with two bikes all over cally, arizona and here in oregon,so we used to rack up the miles. That was using my 02 F-150 FX4.We're retireing so no more long miles for us.I used to get 21mph with the 02(5.4),empty,15 pulling.
