37's on Stock Fx4 rims

I currently have 35" BFG Muds on my stock 18" FX4 rims and I wanted to see if anyone was crazy enough to put 37's on them. Please post pics if you have them

im not sure but i think youd want a minimum of a 9 inch wide wheel for 13.5 wide tire...cause alot of 37 inch tires are 13.5. but i have seen people put 38's on stock rims so im sure it isnt a huge problem. but then again BFG has a 12.5 wide 37...but i dont know if its made for a 18 rim....

Is that an answer or just more questions?

Go for it, just make sure they're 12.50s. I've wanted to see this done for a while now!

I dont understand how this is possible but SOUTHSIDE did it so I guess it is. People are having trouble with 37s on a 6" lift. I dont know how it works on a stock truck with stock rims

I've been saying it for a while, the wheels are almost the most crucial thing in deciding how big of a tire can fit.

IMO 37s would look to stuffed on a 6 inch lift. I wish I could come across a steal on some. I'm getting my rear lifted this week and i'm thinking my 35s are starting to look to small on a 8.5 inches of lift.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but Thumper I just realized you got a new rig! Sweet man, and love that black on black!! I see very few of that color combo around my way. I was kinda away from the site for a while and missed out on your 2006 upgrade. Awesome bro.
