I love my F150

I just wanted to say I love my F150. The new body style is so nice. I used to have a 2002 Ranger FX4 that was spectacular, however too small for towing a racecar. The F150 is perfect for towing and quite comfortable, my mom and friends love it as well. I just finished detailing it and I stood back proud and happy with my decision to purchase one. Its nice looking as well as functional and cool as hell too.

Maybe someone has already asked this, but I'm fascinated as to why everyone else loves their F150. Lets hear why you like your truck so much...and perhaps maybe why you dont like your truck so much. Sometimes understanding what isn't perfect with a vehicle leads to new ideas on how to improve them from other people! :o So lets here some stories.

Thumbs up

I vote for love my F150. I bought an 06 STX standard cab flareside with the 4.2, at with just the standard STX pkg. I didn't want the XLT option on mine. Manual windows and door locks suit me just fine. You are right the new body style makes for a good looking truck, but I am partial to the flareside in this one.

f150 design

I looked at several trucks before buying the F150. The new body styli is really what got me into it. I am so glad they went back to a more squared body style. It looks meaner than before. It is roomy, comfortable and I like the quiet inside. Can't hear the engine, it is so amazing.

Great truck and so far it is running great (40,000 miles in 1.5 year)

I was going to buy a used truck. Didn't matter the mfg. as I figured they were all still the same generic interiors. Then I peaked inside one of the new '05s with the buckets and center console and was floored. I loved the interior look. I love the exterior as well, the front end is really nice. Then when I found out I could get a sunroof, I was sold. Drive mine everyday.

My 05 FX4 Screw is one year old yesterday and I love it more now than the day I bought it. I can't explain, but there is something about it that makes it so special. I have had some pretty sweet cars in the past, BMW's, Acura's, Cobra's, but next to my old 95 Cobra, this is the best damn vehicle I have ever owned. It's so practical for me and my family, it's hella mod friendly, and it's one of the best F-Series designs ever.

Hahhaha, I would have never guessed. I've been a die hard Ford fan (out of the big three) all my life, but I am pretty fond of the current gen Silverado SS in black. I think they look pretty sweet.

I love my truck, fun to drive, reasonalbe gas mileage, 26,000 miles and runs great. I traded in a Silverado for my Ford and felt like I was giving up a good friend. Put 75,000 on the Chevy with no problems. Just did not like the looks of the 2005 Silverado. So glad I was able to get the Ford I wanted.

Now that everything has been fixed on mine, I can say I do too.
The last fix which was a new throttle body made all the difference in the world, this is the best my truck has run since i bought it in Jan. 04.

Well, I've had my STX for 20 months now, and what I love about it, besides the looks, is the crisp handling, good power (OK, I have a few power mods), great freeway manners and how easy it is to tinker with and mod.

As was said, what's not to love?
