Bull bar or brush guard

I like the looks of both the westin bull bar and the hunter brush guard and can get them for approximately the same price. I prefer black in color. I have a 4x2.

Which one would you choose?

The bottom picture. The top looks really crappy to me on trucks.

one thing, with the bullbar, you can actually use it against obstacle not like the brush guard. When I wnet offroad, I actually pushed some dead pine trees out of my way

Personally, I only like the bull bar on a truck that's a little higher ... 4X4 or at least lifted a bit. Otherwise, it just seems to get lost down there. That's the reason I went with a brush guard on my 4x2. And don't forget those lights on the bull bar are extra $$$.

I like the bull bars or the predator type bars by Smitty or Manik.

I have the black Westin on mine and I love it. I think that the brush guards hide the nose of the truck too much. I have to agree with BlacknTan as well, the Predator bars look pretty good also.

I agree. I like the predator bar by Smittybilt but good luck getting one. I paid for one and two months later still never received it so I got my money back. Many suppliers say that Smittybilt is always like that so they dont even push Smittybilt products. I might buy the manik, not sure yet.

I like both looks!

However, I will tell you that washing the truck is a royal PIA with a full brush guard...

Bull Bar I have a Force Automotive Bull Bar. The lights were inexpensive.
