Expect to pay literally $125 nomatter how you ship it...freight, fedex, whatever.

Major pita. Been there, done that. not worth it.

I suggest craigslist and sell it locally.

I work for UPS and I would suggest shipping seperately. I think it cost me something like $20-22 per rim. I dont know about tires.

www.discountfreightrate.com Click on partial load and fill in the info from there.
A lot cheaper than Fed Ex and Ups.

My wheels and tires weigh 76lbs. Ups and Fed Ex wants about $100. per wheel to ship. Discount freight rate was going to ship them all for $160.
That was a quote from VA to Tenn.
If you don't have a box all you need it some cardboard to cover the rims on both sides and use the tire for a box.

It's about the same with Fedex. I can ship a 76 lb tire & wheel from NY to LA for $41. with Fedex Ground and not have to hassle with a freight company.

I bought a set of 18" FX4 wheels and tires w/lugs and centers,it cost $270 for shipping through UPS. The wheels w/ tires mounted weighed over 70lbs each and it was hard to find a shipper that would ship something over 70lbs so we went with UPS.Good thing I got the wheels and tires cheap.Even with the ungodly shipping charges the price was still pretty reasonable.

Go to ebay and search for their freight quote system. I used it to ship a set of 20" wheels with tires. It was only like $250 bucks and it weighed ALOT. All i did was drive them down to the trucking freight center and they took them from me and put them on a pallett and that was that. Just realize it's a little more complicated than UPS....i ended up getting a bill in the mail later...because they re-weighed it and i owed them more money...$250 total

I also work for UPS and I would recomend craigs list also. I sold my 18 inch lariat rims and tires for 700 hundo on craigs list, and he picked them up right from my house!
