recomend exhaust

I'm looking for a catback now cause my moms a bitch and thinks my exhaust is too loud and complains that it wakes her up at night when I leave. I think shes fullof **** and needs to get a grip but if theres a setup that's almost as loud as having no muffler I might consider it. I mainly need it quiet from idle to 2000 rpms. that's it I like the ***** to the wall sound from there after. I also don't like having tips or any of that crap. turndowns only before the axle

You guys know me... you also know that I don't tolerate intentional stupidity here...

A 3-day ban has been placed as a result of the aforementioned stupidity. I'm not going to put up with it guys...

To put this one back on topic...

BTW, if you want a nice grumble without an obscene amount of loud, check out Magnaflow. They make a very nice bolt-on system that isn't too outrageous on the pocketbook and has a great sound.

I have a 40 series SIDO FlowMaster. I really don't think it's that load, but does give it a nice tone. I will have to admit though, that these trucks are well insulated from sound, and since I'm the only one that drives my truck....I couldn't really tell you if it's annoying to others?

Thats what I like to see.

Anyway I agree with you on the magnflow. I have the 18" that comes in the catback set up. Nice sound up to 1800 rpm, above that it gets mean...........

How 'bout moving out and paying your own rent, then you won't have your mom questioning your superior knowledge on what is considered too loud.

Banks is good as well, I have had mine on a little over two weeks and love it. The sound is awsome, not to loud in the cab and a nice deep tone outside.

That's EXACTLY where I was about to go after reading the initial thread post. Nothing more needs to be said about it.

If you have something EXHAUST RELATED to post, then post. If not, leave this one alone. The OP has already been dealt with due to inappropriate behavior.

EXHAUST IS THE TOPIC...

Flowmaster 50 SUV has a nice sound but not too loud even at WOT. No drone at highway speeds

18" magnaflow in place of stock pig. I like it, nice tough tone when accelerating and doesn't wake the neighbors every morning.
