I really hate to be the bad guy, but just an FYI buying a demo is almost NEVER a better deal than buying a new truck and utilizing the incentives. A demo is basically going to be sold at the same as new price, without FoMoCo rebates/incentives.

I worked at a dealer and the salesmen always loed selling the demo because they were so hard to move that management would pay extra commission for selling them.

You're helping prove the 4.6 2v to the nonbelievers, but I still wish you good luck, you've seen my threads. 8.4 is great, props to you.
josiah i actually lied but it was an accident it was an 8.59 (during a hot summer day in the Texas heat) i think that is still pretty good though. i am pretty sure if i got a REAL muffler, intake, and efans i would have no problem hitting a better time then 8.4 but like I said it is getting to the point where the tires are wearing down fast. On a side note I went home this weekend and I took it slow and i got like 14.8 mpg the next tank i really ragged on it and i drove back home doing 85-95 and i got 15.2 does that make sense to anyone?

It was a good deal. It was the only STX on the lot with the power package, tinted windows, bedliner, etc. Not to mention I got the 3,000 cash back incentive that Ford was running at that particular time.

I can't see the gauges very well in that video. Wish I could zoom in on it.

You can, choose "original" for the size and it will be bigger.

I'll try that..

You know I hear some people complain about the gas mileage, and suggest that you get more value from spending your performance mod money on a lighter vehicle. But I suggest that there is something, can't put my finger on it, but a different feeling when you propel 5500 lbs. down the road quickly. It may not be as fast or quick as something lighter, but it is an experience that is unattainable in those alternatives.

Just my thoughts....

I felt slow before I got the Edge. It eliminated the throttle lag completely. Pre Edge I raced a 2005 Chevy and stayed even up to 90 but with the way this thing pulls now no way. I kicked it today at 60 and it threw me back and I was at 85 in no time. Best Mod I have got so far.

If all I wanted was to go fast, I would sell my Nortons and get a Kawasaki KZ15... Zero to 180 MPH in 10 seconds.
