Some sound clips

Well I'm bored and at work so I figured I'd share a couple sound clips of my truck. The first is at start up and a couple revs, the second is from in the cab while doing a short WOT run. Hope you like em!!

Be sure to check Page 2 for 2 more sound clips!!

torturekilla: I only paid $275 for the whole deal... a very good deal. Check this thread too, it shows more of my exhaust.

After it was put on I really didn't notice any real power gains or losses. I couldn't spin tires from a standstill before, and I couldn't after. In fact, even after adding a new air intake and getting an Xcal II with the 93 octane Troyer tune I still can't spin from a standstill. I know thats not a good way to measure power increases, but just thought I'd throw that out there.

If you're looking for a good sound, then go ahead and get a new system. If you're looking for power increases, look elsewhere, like getting a new computer tune.

DTheobald: Thanks!!

NASSTY: That start up video was taken at my girlfriends apartment complex, i'm sure they do love me there! At my house the neighbors aren't really thatclose and I try to stay off the gas as I come and go. So far no complaints...

I like the bug running across the video shot in the first one! Sounds good! I think it's running for its life.

That does sound real sweet!

True duals are a little out of most people's budgets, but, by golly, if you can afford it, the sound and performance is worth it.

Im confused as to why you can spin the tires.
I have 305/40/22 all around with troyer tuned xCal2, flowmaster 40's and airaid intake and with an LSD and could melt the tires off. They spin as long as I keep the gas coming.

Stealth: Yeah man, the fleeing ant always makes me chuckle

HIDPLANET: I can get the tires to squeal on take off, and with some power braking I can get it to spin for a few seconds... maybe its just my technique, I've always had pretty low power vehicles before (my previous truck was a 2000 4-banger ranger) so I'm fairly new at this...

azmidget91: Ever get those sound clips?

The sound clip taken inside the truck...was it taken with the windows rolled down or up?

Sounds awesome!

whoa nice price for the true duals.. my SI/DO MowBastard 40 and custom bent aluminum pipes cost me 300 and the 4'' by 22'' silverline SS tips cost me 65 a piece for a grand slam of 445 out the door

and then not even a year later some 17 year old rear ends me in his 87 pontaic firebird and F'd up the tips ... o well everythings been fixed and replaced..

hell of a way of getting brand new tips

Tire compounds and I believe you are 2WD and he is 4WD so there is a big difference in RWHP there.

How does 2wd vs. 4wd make a difference in RWHP?
